From Barely Walking to Riding a Bike
I had just driven 2,400 miles straight from Atlanta to Spokane for work, and I mean "straight". When I arrived all seemed well, but after about two weeks, my lower back and pain shooting down my leg to my big toe with burning and constant ache was so bad that I could not step on it, so walking was more of limping and hopping. Asked my sister if there were and Chiropractors in the area and she said yes, there is Dr. Karl Smith, he likes rhinos, and he is really good. So I limped into him and he started me with an evaluation. And yes, there are little rhino pictures and figures to be seen. As that evaluation started he was seriously concerned that I had a back problem that might need surgery and beyond his care, but he said we will see after he had finished his evaluation. In general I guess I looked bad. So after the tests for motion and pain he took X-rays and then came back to say, "I think I can help you, but you don't have much time or you're going to need surgery". Based on how my body was wracked with pain going way over the normal twinges you ignore, I knew he was right. From the first adjustment I could tell he had real skill unlike any other Chiropractor out there. So I kept on with everything he said to do, out of fear that this was my last shot at a normal life, there is no getting back to normal after surgery, so this had to work. With each adjustment I got better and soon the pain was reduced and I was walking again and I even added bike riding. It is always nice to go into his office. His staff are the best, they are very friendly, professional, and get things done. These people together with Dr. Karl have helped change my life in the way that I was hoping things would go. I am very grateful. To say, Dr. Karl is a good Chiropractor is to say Tiger Woods is a good Golfer, there is just real quality in the care he provides.
